Yankee aftermarket tuners Stillen have prodded a race-ready Nissan GTR into producing 620 HP (462kW) from a suprisingly humble list of modifications. In development and testing for the last six months, the (Tangiers?) orange GTR will debut at the Newfoundland Targa Rally in Canada.
Stillen have only used your average boy-racer tuning kit to push the GTR into a sub 3 second 0-100km/h dash: new intakes and downpipes, better air filtration, and electronic boost system, removal of the pesky catalytic converter, and blow-off valves. On top of the power modifications, the Stillen GTR also has Eibach coilover springs, carbon-ceramic brakes and adjustable sway-bars. Undoubtedly adding to the impressive straight-line performance is the typical racecar gutting along with the bonnet, boot, side-mirrors, rear wing and air ducts.
This begs the question, what sort of monstrous figures will the GTR be capable of?
